Our 4 week externally accredited TEFL course is now in its 12th year with over 800 teachers trained, and ex trainees now teaching in France and around the world. We are the biggest and best known TEFL course in the South of France.
The course runs from 9 am to 6.30 pm Monday to Friday at our training centre in central Toulouse, overlooking the beautiful Jardin des Plantes
The course abides by British Council recommendations for TEFL courses - including a minimum of 6 hours observed teaching practice, and a minimum of 120 total hours of total contact time with trainers (142 with us)
For those who need a student visa to live and work in France after the course, our trainees benefit from a 15% reduction in fees for French courses at the local Alliance Francaise.
Add-on modules are available in Teaching Young Learners, Educational Technology, Teaching Business English, and we also offer extra voluntary teaching practice, a free accommodation service and lifelong job guidance. A bientot!

You never really know when booking a program across the other side of the world but rest assured, TEFL Toulouse is not only legit but I learned so much more than I thought I would. The course ROCKED! I particularly appreciated the clarity with which they showed us how to plan lessons, and the 6 teaching practices were extremely useful. I ended up doing 8 of them so I really got value for money. The grammar and phonology aspects were covered in depth, and so were the sessions on how to teach the 4 skills. We had champagne and dinner at the end - on the house!
I also really liked Toulouse - it's beautiful, laid back and a well kept secret - shhh! My accommodation was very cheap (450 euros for the whole month) and very close to the training centre. Don't hesitate guys, this course is the best!! Or as Jonathan would say "really rather good" :)

TEFL Toulouse offers a unique and intensive course on teaching English. Being in contact with several different TEFL trainers (who are teachers themselves) I was able to learn many different techniques in teaching English. The course provides over 6 hours of teaching practice with different groups of students. After the four week course, I had the competence and skills necessary in teaching English of all levels. It was an overall great experience that I would highly recommend to anyone looking to become an English teacher.
