Peaceful and Productive

By far my most enjoyable experiences of Brazil were during my stay at Jaguarapira. The housing and grounds are phenomenal, and extremely peaceful. I stayed several times, as vacation and also for writing workshops with colleagues. On all of the occasions my stay was a great experience. I felt safe as I explored the various waterfalls and trails that zip through the surrounding areas. Although the location is more remote, access to essentials and even pizza is a half hour- 1 hour ordeal.
The services and grounds keepers who live at the location are pleasant, knowledgeable and a joy to hang out with!
As a biologist, experiencing the current animal and plant diversity, and learning the history of reforestation made the adventures a highlight of my trip to Brazil!
