Volunteer in the Himalayas

Discover Delhi. Get heady in the Himalayas. Immerse yourself in the welcoming Indian community of Himachal Pradesh, meeting volunteers from around the world as you make a difference in the local economy. The sky is the limit on this unique, 4-week volunteer adventure in India. Starting in Delhi, you'll begin a 1-week cultural immersion that includes Hindi tutorials, yoga sessions, and cultural workshops such as henna, Indian clothing and Bollywood workshops, plus optional weekend excursions to the Taj Mahal in Agra or Dharamshala, where you can learn about Tibetan culture. In weeks 2 through 4, head to the Himalayas and become an essential volunteer in Himachal Pradesh, where you can take part in local education, childcare, building and women's empowerment projects. With all accommodations included, as well as all volunteer-day meals, you can relax in the Himalayas as you get to know other volunteers from around the globe.
