About Program
Oxbridge in Montpellier is a 4-week full French immersion program for students in grades 9-12. Participants need to have studied French for two or more years and commit to speaking French in class and on activities for the duration of the program. They are taught by academics, professional chefs, and artists. They choose two courses - a Major and a Minor – which are taught entirely in French. These interactive courses use Montpellier as a teaching tool. Every class goes out every day to discover and learn at the same time. Outside class, there is a full calendar of program activities – including field trips to Avignon and the Pont du Gard - to enable students fully to immerse themselves in local and French culture. Participants are housed in the center of town, in a new, purpose-built dorm in one of the oldest schools in Montpellier.
