Price Details
Partication to the program is free, but approx. 505 $ are charged monthly for accommodation and food, according to the following:
- 65 DKK/Day (9.35 $) for food (paid based on the days you ate in Folkecenter, not as a flat rate)
- 1500 DKK/month (216 $) for accomodation
Payments are done on a monthly basis (so not all at once) and they include all the activities of the training program, including participation to fairs and excursions relevant renewable energy installations. The trainee will not have other costs during his/her period in Folkecenter

About Program

Running since 1986, our trainee programme has formed generations of renewable energy experts all over the world. Hundreds of engineers, scientists and students have visited Folkecenter for different periods, all with one goal: give their contribution for the development of a modern and sustainable society.
Our goal is to provide knowledge about a variety of aspects within renewable energies, both from the technical and the socio-economic profile...so, don't be scared if you are not technical. If you have motivation and you can speak English, you are already fulfilling all the requirements!
The internship is carried out in a friendly atmosphere, where all the trainees live and work together. Therefore, the outcome of the program is not only knowledge, but also life-long friendships!
