What is your favorite travel memory?
It's a close one, I'd say either sailing around Ha Long Bay with the most gorgeous scenery, or swimming with turtles in Bali.
To me, Vietnam is the most stunning country I have ever been to. The culture is second to none; the history behind Vietnam is fascinating I couldn't ask for much more as a traveler.
Swimming up close with turtles in Bali gave me such an appreciation for wildlife and has encouraged me to be much more eco-friendly after seeing the beauty that is sea turtles.
How have you changed/grown since working for your current company?
I have been on a long journey with Intro Travel. When I started, I was a confident person and very sociable. But as the months have gone on, I have seen my life change for the better. I feel unbelievably comfortable around different groups of people, and I know that I can give any group the best time of their lives.
I thoroughly enjoy spending time with different groups and learning from them. Every group is a group I can somehow improve on, and I strive to improve every week.
Working for Intro Travel has directed me in the life I want, being able to work in an environment where every day is enjoyable.
To love every day I work is what I have always wanted.
What is the best story you've heard from a return student?
I have had a group member before come out to Australia to change his life. At the start of the tour, he was extremely shy and found it hard to make friends; it was his first time travelling. By the end of the tour, I could already see he had come out of his shell and was feeling comfortable enough to socialize with various people. He actually even got up on a dance floor as he had never done before!
It filled me with so much pride to see someone push themselves, step out of their comfort zone, and get rewarded with the confidence they had always wanted. He then traveled to a lot more of Australia and kept pushing himself. He believes coming out to do Ozintro was the best decision of his life. I still keep in touch with him now.
If you could go on any program that your company offers, which one would you choose and why?
Thai Experience, for sure! Our premium Thai tour is unbelievable; the itinerary is everything you want from Thailand and more. From staying in the most amazing places like floating bungalows and tree top bungalows in the gorgeous Khao Sok National Park, to beach parties in Koh Phangan, to going to wildlife sanctuaries to visit elephants which are one of my favorite animals ever, and being able to feed and bathe them. Thai Experience is 100% the one for me!
What makes your company unique? When were you especially proud of your team?
What makes Intro Travel unique is the personal care we give every single traveler in our groups. It doesn't matter where you come from or what age you are, we truly strive to give the best experience to everyone.
We are truly passionate about travelling, and after having experienced unbelievable moments, we want to try and help give those memories to all of our group members. I am proud of the effort that every single team member puts in to be able to make the smoothest of tours with the greatest of experiences.
What do you believe to be the biggest factor in being a successful company?
Listening. Listening to every one of our group members fully helps us understand their needs and wants whilst running tours, and also helps us in being able to improve any aspect of the tour. Our tours are all about the group and their experience, and we are constantly striving in order to run the best tours in the world which we believe we are.
