What is your favorite travel memory?

My favourite memory is meeting new people and learning about their culture. Each individual is different and it is fascinating to learn about new cultures and their local language. Also trying local food, you may like to or you may not but tasting food is always has been and will be my favourite travel memory.

How have you changed/grown since working for your current company?

I learnt about all the industries as we work with candidates from different industries its a must to know about each industry. I wouldn't have been able to learn about all these industries if I worked for any other company. I have improved my email comms as well. Also, working with people from all over the world is helping me become a culturally intelligent person.

What is the best story you've heard from a return student?

They have had the best time at the company that they interned with and the employer helped them improve their current skills and acquire new skills. I am relatively new to the company so I am yet to hear the best story yet. All this time I have only heard good things from the candidates who return to our program and them returning itself proves that they have had the best internship.

If you could go on any program that your company offers, which one would you choose and why?

Business Development. My current role is closely related to business development so I believe doing an internship in business development will help me improve my skills and learn about new things from a different company which could help me grow in my current role and also grow Capital Placement. I also like marketing as it's an interesting field to get into.

What makes your company unique? When were you especially proud of your team?

We are an international team working remotely. The team members are from the UK, South Africa, India and Sri Lanka. Despite the time difference and being miles apart we have managed to create a unique bond among colleagues which makes the team stronger. Also, our founders have been interns and know the struggle of an intern so they always put the candidates no matter what the cost is for the company. I am immensely proud of all that they have achieved in these 9 years and I am sure they will grow tremendously in the future.

What do you believe to be the biggest factor in being a successful company?

Most of the companies only focus on the customers and fail to think about their employees. I believe it's equally important to treat your employees as you would treat your customers. Word of mouth is a marketing tool that is not being recognised as much. A happy employee will only spread the good news about the company and will encourage their family and friends to join the firm as a customer or an employee.
