- Salary between $700 and $18000 USD (2.8 – 7.4 million Riel) depending on qualifications and experience

When you arrive in Cambodia, you can count on: Airport pick-up and transportation to your accommodation within walking distance to the training centre and the vibrant city center. You’ll then begin your orientation and get to know your fellow teacher travelers.

Requirements
NO DEGREE REQUIRED! Cambodia is one of the only countries in Asia where you can legally teach without a Bachelor’s Degree. A degree is not required for the documents submission to obtain the work permit.
This program is only open to citizens of the following countries: United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa.
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken
- Neutral accent
- Be a minimum of 20 years and maximum of 49 years of age, those aged older or younger will be reviewed on a case by case basis
- Clean criminal record
- A love for foreign cultures and willingness to embrace new challenges
Training: Internationally Accredited 120-hour TEFL/TESOL Certification in Hua Hin, Thailand.
The course is tailored specifically for those preparing to teach English in Cambodia offers both practical training and classroom sessions to equip you with the knowledge and skills required to teach English to non-native speakers.
The following areas/subjects are covered during your 4 weeks:
- Information and discussion about Thai/Cambodian culture, history, politics, and society to provide exposure and help students navigate their new environment.
Significant instruction in Thai/Khmer language (6 Hours). - Strong grounding in the history and theory of teaching English as a foreign/second language. This is taught in a way that emphasizes application of theory to enhance success in the classroom.
- Significant practical training in teaching listening, reading, speaking and writing in the classroom, including extensive lesson planning, presentation, and feedback from peers and instructors.
- Tons of tips, tricks and examples of how to teach English to every age group.
- Advice and guidance for effective classroom management.
- Practical training and assessment through participation in a non-profit English camp for disadvantaged kids.
