What is your favorite travel memory?
During this last years, I've traveled throughout Italy, discovering the beauties of our country. I've visited Tuscany, Latium but also the south of Italy with its amazing sea and climate! I've loved to embark in this journey through our country and to discover the different and unique cuisines and traditions of each Italian region.
How have you changed/grown since working for your current company?
Since I have been working in Istituto Galilei and being in contact with students from all over the world, I'm taking benefit from the continuous cultural enrichment that they bring. Moreover, as our clients are often directors/managers/administrators of international companies , I have learned to relate with the people who cover even high job positions.
In the meantime I'm still learning from our teenagers students their contemporary communication language!
What is the best story you've heard from a return student?
Actually we have lots of students that return over the years to study in our school. One them is an Austrian woman that really loves to travel and cruise around the world. She speaks fluently English and German, however, her love for the musicality and armony of the Italian language brings her every year to travel to Italy and return to study at Istituto Galilei, even if it's only for our short course (the weekend course).
If you could go on any program that your company offers, which one would you choose and why?
I would definitely choose a combined program with the Italian language study in the mornings and some cultural activities in the afternoons such as an art history course, history of Florence course, some guided visits to the most famous museums in Florence, photography classes, drawing and painting and cooking lessons, excursions in Italy and Tuscany etc.
What makes your company unique? When were you especially proud of your team?
Instead of other schools, our Institute is specialized in individual courses that are completely customizable and have a tailor-made program fully built on the requests and exigences of the student. I am really proud to work with professional teachers in a friendly, cooperative and non competitive environment, in which I personally feel continuously enriched.
What do you believe to be the biggest factor in being a successful company?
I believe that there are multiple factors that make a company a successful one. Some of them are the professionalism and experience of the teachers, the collaboration and cooperation between all the staff members, a friendly and opened environment, the curiosity towards new learning methods and a customer oriented approach.
