Will I still be able to volunteer in 2021 regardless of the covid pandemic?

Hi Sheri, thanks for reaching out - many of IVHQ's volunteer programs are currently operating with additional health and safety measures in place. Each program's current operational status differs based on country-specific border restrictions.

Is there a particular IVHQ destination you had in mind for your volunteer efforts, and a time frame you planned to travel? If so, please email info@volunteerhq.org and one of our Volunteer Travel Specialists will be happy to chat more about the availability in that destination.

Just keep in mind that current travel restrictions are changing on a daily basis from country to country, so I'd recommend you speak with immigration at home as well as the Embassy in the country you wish to travel to, in order to ensure you're able to travel freely based on your specific travel dates.

At IVHQ, we also have a flexible booking policy which enables you to make free changes to your program or travel dates even after you have registered.

For regular updates regarding our program re-openings and information regarding how we're keeping volunteers and host communities safe, see this page: www.volunteerhq.org/coronavirus-update/.

Please feel free to reach out to us at info@volunteerhq.org if there's anything else we can help with.

All the best!
