Is it okay to miss class for excursions?

I am planning to through the program this spring, and am considering the morocco trip/ other travel options during my stay. I am a little worried about how missing class will affect my grades abroad. If I attend most my classes but miss a few weeks or something for excursions, will that drastically lower my grade?
In Granada, you can only miss 20% of EACH class per semester until you are unable to take the final. Even ISA excursions will add to this 20%.
