Ranked in the Top 150 Departments by QS University Rankings, the University of Tartu offers an exemplary philosophy course at its Institute of Philosophy and Semiotics.
This master's programme provides historical and systematic knowledge of a whole range of philosophical topics. Students are able to join one of the university's (often international) research groups, where they will develop valuable skills for any academic career in philosophy. It opens up, however, other career possibilities in different fields as well, such as politics, administration, journalism and education.
