Travel and Teach English in Italy this summer!

This program is an incredible experience to broaden your horizons, grow your linguistic and interpersonal skills, explore one of the most beautiful and historically-rich countries in the world, and build authentic connections with people from all over the world! Participating in YT&T not only challenged me to step outside my comfort zone and learn to take on responsibilities of teaching English to others, but it also grew my confidence exponentially in my abilities as both a teacher and a student! (There’s so much to learn from talking with native speakers and being immersed in the culture!) Without this program, I would not have felt as comfortable or confident going abroad to teach for the first time. Eliot and Nick, the program’s leaders, are incredibly apt and sensitive to the needs of the participants. They were also constantly encouraging us to push ourselves and to take advantage of every opportunity to connect with the Italian people and culture. If you are thinking of participating in this program, do!! You will not regret the beautiful memories you will make with those in your path. I always look back fondly on the memories of teaching, talking, laughing, eating, and exploring with the awesome group I was a part of. Highly recommend!
