Salary / Benefits

Contract:

Successful candidates will be offered a year-long contract that includes employment and accommodations in Seoul, South Korea. Before the term of the contract expires, an extension can be negotiated if desired by both parties.

Salary:

Salary is paid monthly in sums of 2,200,000 KRW - 2,500,000 KRW (salary is determined by any previous teaching experience and educational qualifications of the candidate).

Weekly Work Schedule:

M-F: 8:40 am - 5:30 pm (including an hour-long lunch break).

Benefits:

-- Airfare to South Korea
-- Semi-furnished apartment (includes a two-burner gas hotplate, refrigerator, washing machine, bed, and air conditioner)
-- If applicants plan to use different accommodations, a housing allowance of 500,000 KRW /month is available instead of the school-provided accommodation
-- Paid summer (9 days) and winter (9 days) holidays
-- Paid national holidays
-- The school pays 50% toward employee pension and medical insurance tax requirements
-- A contract completion bonus is provided after the completion of the contract's term.
-- Lunch and some snacks are provided during work hours
