About Program

Join AMIGOS project staff and work abroad this summer in Costa Rica, Ecuador, or Panama! AMIGOS is a leader in international youth development, creating a world in which young people realize their full potential as leaders and global citizens. We provide extraordinary opportunities for youth to design and lead projects in collaboration with U.S. and Latin American peers and partner organizations across the Americas. Our strong partner network, built over 50+ years, enables authentic engagements in communities across the region.

Project staff members set up and lead programs for teens in Latin America for the summer. They mentor students, collaborate with partner agencies and host families, facilitate trainings and workshops, lead activities, handle project logistics, address health and safety needs, manage group dynamics, and more. There are three roles open: Project Director, Associate Project Director, and Project Supervisor. All are full-time, seasonal positions.
