About Program
Our organization seeks to improve the lives of girls (who in India are often considered second-class citizens) from underprivileged communities. Through girl's education, health & hygiene awareness, and skill development, we want to give them the tools to become self-sustaining and reach further than they could have alone.
Join our mission by teaching girls English, training them in painting or your favorite skill/craft, support us in fundraising/marketing, assist in distributing food, hygiene products, & schools supplies, or wherever you find that you might best fit. Being a small organization, we will be able to work directly one-on-one with you and you will have lots of opportunity for interaction with the girls who would be so excited to have you! And to top it off, you'd be in one of India's most historical sights with plenty to see and explore.
Consider your impact: Volunteering abroad can be a rewarding experience for both volunteers and local communities, and at Go Overseas, we believe all volunteers should have the resources to make informed decisions about the type of volunteer project they want to partake in.
