About Program
JJVS is a non-government organization focusing its efforts on solutions that provide direct socio-economic improvements to rural populations. They were founded in 1985 and have earned broad community recognition as a centre of progressive social activity, providing training and health services to healers and patients alike.
The objectives of the project you will be visiting are:
•Evaluating and treating female patients in marginalised communities where medical aid is practically non-existent.
•Enhancing respect for female Gunis (indigenous healers) living in remote areas by sharpening and developing their skills.
•Exploring women’s health initiatives set by JJVS and working with Indian Doctors to explore
