About Program
The Professional School began in 2012 with the objective of preparing graduated students, from underprivileged castes and poor families, to access the labor market by improving their knowledge of English, training them in another language (French, Spanish or German), providing basic computer and accounting training and enhancing the development of their communication strategies and soft skills.
Students live at the school for one academic year and have classes from Monday to Saturday from 9:00 am to 1:30 pm and from 2:30 pm to 6:30 pm. They have one weekend off per month. The teachers, for their part, have 4 hours of class daily from Monday to Saturday. In addition to the weekend that the students enjoy, the volunteers have one day off per month. Volunteering consists of a minimum commitment of four months, during which the volunteer teaches his/her subject. The organisation covers accommodation, food, medical insurance and transportation from Bangalore airport to Anantapur.
