Marine Research and Conservation in Indonesia
- Indonesia
- Lombok Island
About Program
Join us in paradise for the experience of a lifetime! Help us preserve and protect the vibrant and diverse coral reefs that will be your classroom and playground during your time here.
Our eco-expeditions are based around our research, conservation and education initiatives and are designed to provide you with the knowledge and skills to get hands on with each and every one of them. Receive training from experienced marine biologists and take an active part in our marine & coral reef projects.
We are a non-profit meaning that all of the funding we receive is funnelled into our initiatives. Our Eco-Volunteers make a compulsory donation in order to cover the cost of their stay and help save our planet and wildlife at the same time.
Our planet is in serious trouble and we are trying desperately to save it. But we can’t do it alone. We need your help. Together we can make a genuine and lasting impact for the marine environment and the incredible creatures that reside within it.

Program Impact
We develop sustainable community-backed methods for the protection and restoration of marine ecosystems and aim to provide a climate for ecological awareness within both local and international communities, achieved through scientific action and public engagement. Our ties with local grassroots organisations and departments of local government means that we can ensure our projects are having a genuine and lasting impact. By advising our contacts in the government we are able to assist with MPA designation to ensure they are as effective as possible, and can help steer the increasing tourism hitting Lombok towards sustainable eco-tourism.
With the help of our eco-volunteers we work endlessly towards our ultimate goal - to restore and protect the marine environment, creating healthy, productive and valuable ecosystems for the benefit of all stakeholders and future generations.
