About Program

Qualified and experienced vets are needed for our Vets for JSPCA Israel program. There are an estimated 200,000 ferals cats in Jerusalem, and a shortage of vets to perform spay/neuter surgeries. Volunteers will be responsible for covering the cost of airfare, but we will provide airport transfers, a stay in a B&B, transfers back and forth between the B&B and clinic, and a light lunch. Clinic hours will be 9:00-3:00PM, and there is no minimum time commitment. Israel is a beautiful country, so be sure and leave time to do some exploring. For more information, visit our website.

The JSPCA has been helping animals for 80 years. Our new program, Vets for JSPCA Israel is inviting vets to come and volunteer to spay/neuter the feral cats of Jerusalem and the surrounding area. With an estimated feral cat population of 200,000 and a shortage of vets we need your help!
