About Program
Malawi is generally a green, lush country with plateaus, highlands and forests. The dominant feature is the rift valley, providing the vast area that Lake Malawi fills extending all the way to the south. In Blantyre, The Muskoka Foundation collaborates with a community based organization that aspires to make a sustainable impact on children’s rights and welfare with full community involvement.
Volunteer opportunities include maintaining and improving food production for the community, assisting livestock management, health and welfare education, teaching an entrepreneurship or photography workshop, teaching IT skills, community involvement, or vocational skills training, and participating in the Global Citizenship Initiative.
