Volunteer In Nicaragaua

Casa-Nica was started from the observation that too often programs are initiated without sufficient communication with the target population. This leads to an inadequate understanding of the problems being faced and therefore leads to less than optimal solutions. Casa-Nica believes that Nicaraguans are perfectly able to identify their own problems and go about fixing them.

Casa-Nica therefore goes about development by bringing in international volunteers to work along side Nicaraguans in their organizations assisting them to achieve their goals.

We work with many local, social organizations dedicated to many areas of development. We are happy for volunteers to dedicate their time to working with a single organization or several and we will create flexible schedules together to maximize their time in Nicaragua to get the most out of their trip.
