Price Details

Volunteers are asked to fundraise to participate in their brigade, and also to cover their own airfare. A typical program contribution ranges from $600-800, and airfare varies depending on the location. Global Brigades will provide volunteers with a personal online fundraising page, and resources to meet their fundraising goals.

About Program

Global Brigades volunteers in Panama will have the opportunity to spend a week working alongside our local staff and community members on a health or sustainable development project. Volunteers can choose to participate in any one of the following brigade programs:

+ MEDICAL - run a mobile medical clinic alongside health care professionals
+ BUSINESS - consult agribusinesses in rural communities on how to improve their practices
+ HUMAN RIGHTS - give community members access to legal counsel and pro-bono services

Global Brigades volunteers will spend a week in rural Panama contributing to our year-round health and economic development projects. By participating in a Global Brigades programming, volunteers are contributing to large-scale development projects that go far beyond the impact one volunteer can make in a week.
