About Program

Here at Hands On Manila, we provide a wide variety of projects for our volunteers. We want each individual to truly work for something they feel passionate about. Our projects include:

Food For Life: Work with our partner, International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) also known as Hare Krishna Food For Life. Volunteers engage in their feeding program by cooking, preparing, or distributing food to participants within Metro Manila.

The Arts: Teach pre-school children and toddlers the basics of art like coloring, cutting and pasting. Art is then put on display for the parents, a very rewarding experience. You also have the option of teaching performing arts, such as dancing and singing, to girls from a shelter.

Caring for Children and the Elderly: Be a BINGO coach, dancing partner, duet buddy or just sit and talk with these genuine elders. Be their companion and provide much needed affection.

Consider your impact: Volunteering abroad can be a rewarding experience for both volunteers and local communities, and at Go Overseas, we believe all volunteers should have the resources to make informed decisions about the type of volunteer project they want to partake in. However, despite best intentions, some organizations offering placements in orphanages may unknowingly place children in danger. You can read about the potential dangers of orphanage volunteering here.
