About Program
Physical education, is an ideal destination for volunteers who want to coach Physical Education (PE) to children. By taking part in our Physical Education project, volunteers will not only be involved in learning new skills and improving their own fitness, but will also be able to pass on their own sports knowledge to local children. In Zimbabwe, volunteers can choose to focus on teaching physical education to children in preschools and other primary schools or choose to combine working at a school with training at a track & field club. By taking part on this project you will gain a large amount of work experience working alongside skilled staff and athletes.And you can identify talented children.As a volunteer teaching physical education in schools, you will teach a variety of sports to children aged 11 to 16 at a local middle and high school. Each class has two PE lessons per week, so your day will be spent teaching a variety of age groups.
