A Summer Internship in London

I had the opportunity to intern abroad in London with the We Find Group and it was a once in a lifetime opportunity! I was the only student from my university to go and the We Find Group Team made me feel right at home as soon as I applied! The team was so helpful with getting my thoughts rolling on exactly what type of internship I wanted, to making sure all my documents were correct and sent in on time for my VISA and answer any questions I had through the whole process! Once getting to London, we were picked up from the airport and taken to our accommodation, which was in a great part of London, near lots of restaurants, stores and an underground station with access to one of the airports. The accommodation had all the features you need and a view I couldn't believe! Our resident director always made time for you if you had questions and had biweekly meetings to check in on your progress at your internship. My internship was at a startup fintech company in West London. I really got a taste of what living in a big city was and how a startup is run and operated! At the end of my 8 weeks, I was really sad to go because I had made so many great friends in the programs and at work.
