Teaching basic healthcare to Students Ubud, Bali

Learning a bit about the Balinese culture and then teaching the students was a very rewarding experience. I completed this with my 16 year old daughter and stayed in the upgraded accommodation in a private room. The accommodation was with a local family just down the road from the Green Lion. The family was lovely and could speak basic English. We only had time to teach for one week but would have loved to have completed two weeks at least. All the volunteers participating were wonderful people and everyone got along really well. There was plenty of spare time to discover the wonders of Ubud in between working. IVHQ and our hosts Green Lion were wonderful to work with, very supportive and well organised. I highly recommend completing this program or any volunteering overseas with these organisations.
