Best way to immerse into a community

If you’ve got only a week to spend in Cusco and want to really be on the ground, there’s no better way than to volunteer with Máximo Nivel. Their program gives you the opportunity to interact and be part of a community while being completely hands-on. That said, there leaves time every day to explore the city, see the sights, and interact with others (even learn Spanish!) No regrets and will 100% recommend this experience to others.

It's also a good chance to really get to explore Cusco on foot, with hostels within the city that are well connected and great!
