A Month In Cuzco

My experience in Cusco was SO awesome! We lived a little further away from the school, so we got a lot of opportunities to walk and get to know the city and people. I NEVER felt unsafe or threatened at all. Tandem is so helpful in learning Spanish! I wish that I had taken the opportunity to do that more. Cusco is rich with history and the surrounding area is wonderful! We learned so much more from leaving the school and going on trips to Lake Titicaca, Machu Picchu, the Sacred Valley, and we even caught a soccer game right in Cuzco. The teachers and staff were great. My overall experience was almost perfect. Spanish came pretty easily and the culture was impressive.
