Enrolling in the Spanish immersion program at Nanda’s house in Castelldefels, Barcelona, was a decision I'll forever cherish. From day one, Nanda’s welcoming demeanour created a supportive atmosphere for learning. The one-on-one lessons were tailored precisely to my skill level, ensuring steady progress while keeping the learning process enjoyable.

Living with a native speaker and professional teacher was a priceless advantage; it improved my speaking and listening skills immensely. Nanda’s expertise shone through in their patient explanations and creative teaching methods.

Beyond the classroom, exploring the Barcelona province with her guidance was a highlight. Castelldefels has beautiful long beaches, such as Playa de Castelldefels, known for swimming, sunbathing, and water sports. We enjoyed a leisurely stroll and savored a delightful meal in a traditional restaurant. However, given Nanda's culinary skills, I was more inclined to dine at home than venture out.

Additionally, the town of Castelldefels offers historical sites like the Castelldefels Castle, providing a glimpse into its medieval past. We also explored the nearby Garraf Natural Park, which is truly breathtaking.

The city of Barcelona came alive as we navigated its streets. The Sagrada Familia's grandeur, the Gothic Quarter's historic charm, and the vibrant energy of Las Ramblas were amazing. Park Guell offered a serene escape and a nice break. Barcelona's highlights left an indelible mark on my heart. I need to come back to Barcelona and explore more of this amazing city and province in general.

This immersion experience not only honed my Spanish but also allowed me to connect with the city's rich culture and heritage in a meaningful way. I can't recommend this program enough to anyone seeking an authentic, effective, and culturally immersive way to learn Spanish.
