Pleasantly Surprised!

Like many people here, I was just looking to get a TEFL certification as a means to an end. I honestly went with ITA because people on a TEFL subreddit recommended it. I figured I would just blow through the course and do whatever work was needed. What I didn’t expect was how robust and useful the information on the course is. I did the 170 hour course, 20 of those hours involved me observing and teaching in the classroom, which I felt prepared to do thanks to the program. I finished with the feeling that I had gained skills and knowledge that would benefit me and my future students.
