I highly recommend Superlearner!

My time with Superleaner has been an incredibly transformative experience. I have been volunteering with Superlearner since November 2019. I began as a teacher and later was a project coordinator for our school improvement project. Supporting the families and our students in reaching their goals has been the most meaningful aspect of being a volunteer. I continue to return to Peru because of the care I have developed for the families in the community. I remember my first day in the community in November 2019, when I met a 1-year-old boy in his mother’s arms who lived next to the school. Over my four years of support, I have seen our students grow, develop their confidence, and expand their goals beyond what they initially thought possible. Being a part of a collective effort to uplift the Pamplona Alta community with amazing volunteers and partner organizations has been an incredible and inspiring experience. I am very proud of the community garden we recently built and our improvements to the school. The students get very excited meeting new volunteers, so if you love teaching children and being creative and resourceful, Superlearner is the perfect organization for you! :)
