IES Barcelona Experience

I studied abroad in Barcelona, Spain, from beginning of September until mid-December. It was an incredible experience. During the first few weeks, the entire program took a trip to Tarragona, Spain, which allowed us to learn about another culture, the Catalan culture outside of the metropolitan area. My curriculum consisted of both IES courses and class from a local Spanish university. All of my IES instructors were outstanding. The classes I took enhanced my undergraduate experience. I was able to take advanced business Spanish class and great business classes in international affairs and leadership. Beyond academics, I was able to travel to various European cities throughout the semester. My time abroad is something I will never forget, and I would encourage everyone to experience it.
