Tell us about your work with Shanghai Learning Center.

My work with Shanghai Learning Center involves coordinating marketing, promotions, recruitment, and admissions efforts with the objective of achieving higher enrollment and promoting the school brand and programs across local and international student markets.

What is your favorite travel memory?

My favorite travel memory is going to Wuzhen with our campers. Every year, I go to Wuzhen with our students for the final field trip during our summer program.

Wuzhen is a perfect vision of China's classic past. It is located in Zhejiang province, a one-hour drive from Shanghai. It boasts more than six hundred years of history and preserves the ancient appearance well. Whether wandering along the riverside or strolling in the lanes paved with blue flagstones, you will be deeply impressed by the picturesque scenery and traditional architecture.

All of the campers have told me that they enjoyed this place very much! I also recommend to go to Wuzhen during autumn or spring, you will see the very different views.

How have you changed/grown since working for your current company?

My job is to develop the market, promotion, recruitment and admission efforts alongside a very international and efficient team. Almost all members of our team have study and work experience in Europe, United States. They have a very wide range of knowledge about foreign culture and advanced working methods.

Our clients are almost all from Europe, North America and Southeast Asia, so we usually use English, French, and Spanish to contact them.

I feel very lucky to work in this diversified working environment. It has improved my communication skills, working methods, English and French language skills, and a lot of marketing skills. RISH is a very warm family. I really learned a lot working here.

What is the best story you've heard from a return student?

After every summer camp, I receive a lot of thank you letters from our campers' parents. They are very happy to see that their children have improved their Chinese and have had a very enjoyable summer vacation with us.

I remember a group of students from the U.S who went to Hangzhou from Shanghai by the high-speed train at Hongqiao Train Station. After they got on the train, a student found that she had left her luggage and there was less than 10 minutes before the train departed.

One of the counselors ran back to the hall and found the luggage at the security checkpoint. He had to then run back to the train before the departure time. Everyone warmly applauded and thanked to him!

If you could go on any program that your company offers, which one would you choose and why?

If I could go on any program that RISH offers, I would choose the RISH community service program. I think this program is a unique program that you can't find anywhere else.

In this program, participants will get to know China's society deeply, understand a lot of Chinese social problems, for example, the medical care in China, how it works in one of the most famous Chinese public hospitals.

Participants volunteer in a Chinese hospital helping with tasks that vary based on what is needed. They receive a training session from the hospital at the beginning of the program and then work closely with the local volunteer team on various tasks to help patients.

They also have opportunities to prepare and participate in various meaningful events organized by the hospital. During the program, participants will travel around Shanghai and Hangzhou, and also practice Chinese with local people.

What makes your company unique? When were you especially proud of your team?

RISH learning center is unique in that we are extremely motivated to offer a professional, transformative, and exceptional study abroad experience. We take the ideas and feedback from each of our clients very seriously.

Every year, we welcome more than 200 students and schools across the globe, and work in cooperation with China's top universities. As the bridge of cultural exchange between China and foreign countries, we will continue to provide the best service. I'm so proud of the contribution of our team in this field.
