10/10 would recommend.

I tried to move overseas before going with Global Work and Travel and it was difficult. I had to find a job but to get a job I needed to know where to live to rent a flat I needed a stable income. It was a constant battle. I could have done it but Global Work and Travel took the stress out of it. Having so many job matches and most who offer staff accommodation. I knew I was going to be safe. I’ve met so many amazing people at my job and I’m having such a great time. My arrival coordinator Sarah was also there to contact me when I first arrived and she was just chatting with me like we were close friends. It didn’t feel businesslike at all, which made me feel comfortable and like I had someone to go to if I needed to.

Best decision of my life

Global Work & Travel have been so helpful and essential to make my abroad dreams come true. From assisting me in finding a job and getting flights, to just knowing that if you need to talk to someone, your trip advisor is always there.

I’ve had so many amazing experiences so far in the UK and can’t wait to see what else the UK and Europe have for me to see. I wholeheartedly suggest Global.

Thank you Global and my trip advisor Sarah for supporting me in the travels. You have been so helpful and to know that if I’m ever stuck, looking for new opportunities to travel, or just need someone to talk to that I can reach out has meant so much.

Pros
  • Seeing the world
  • Making new friends
  • Feeling free
Cons
  • Missing home at times (but it’s worth it)

My experience with Global Work and Travel

My travel coordinator Krystal went above and beyond from my initial interaction with her to the moment I landed in the UK. She made the whole process stress free and I felt so supported with her consistent positive energy. I was able to instantly connect with other Global Travellers making the move away from home a whole lot easier. The stress of trying to meet new people is made so much easier and I have now made friends for life!
I couldn’t recommend Krystal and her team at Global Work and Travel enough.

Pros
  • Stress free solo travel!
  • Great way to meet new people!
  • Constant support from travel coordinator!

Anthony for Global work and travel

The on the ground support has been both positive and negative.
I have mixed feelings about the support offered.
For the amount of money paid, the resulting outcome was less than satisfactory. It would have been cheaper and potentially easier to do it on my own, without the middlemen.

I’m saying that, Chelsea has been an amazing person who really knows what she does and is very knowledgeable about her interests. She’s very straightforward with her intentions and she is always willing to talk, and give advice when necessary.

Pros
  • Learn new and important skills
  • See the world
  • Full cultural immersion
Cons
  • Lack of support to get started
  • Costly

I would recommend this to all my friends, definitely good if you’re a solo traveler as you don’t feel alone always have someone there if you have any questions. What’s best is they help with everything your visa, job ect, I never felt uneasy with working with they had everything sorted for me

Pros

Cons
  • Not a lot of communication
  • Can wait a while for information

My experience

My experience with Global Work and travel was good. However, if someone would like to do one of these programs abroad and know how to do them without assistance, I would recommend him/her to do them on his own because you spend a lot of money. Money you can save :/. For example, I had to wait three weeks for my workplace to open and they couldn't find another job because live-in jobs were scarce. They tried to be supportive but what came to my mind was, "why didn't they tell me that information before I arrive?" maybe I could have changed the country but thank God I am working already. But yeah, if you don't know how to do it on your own, go with them and try to save money by having the necessary information.

Working Holiday Ireland

The best decision I have ever made! I’ve been living and working in Ireland since November 2022 and I’m a solo traveler, but I’ve met so many people and made lots of life long friends already!
It feels like I live in a movie; I work, I live with 3 wonderful girls on similar trips to my own, I go out heaps and am honestly having the time of my life. I’ve developed so much confidence and grown so much over 3 months; my adventures have only begun! I would highly recommend doing something like this!!

Pros
  • Meet lots of people
  • Develop confidence
  • Make so many memories
Cons
  • Can be daunting at first being in a different country
  • Homesickness
  • Can be a tad bit lonely
