Course fees cover: The Italian language tuition: 480 lessons of Italian study, culmination in a final 80 lessons of preparation for two Italian Diplomas at intermediate and advanced levels, a cultural program on Italian Civilization & History, Art History, Business Italian, History of Design & Architecture and an introduction to Italian Gastronomy plus a social program.
This covers your tuition fees for 32 weeks Italian study (in USD). We can quote for longer, or shorter courses on request. In addition we can arrange accommodation (with local Italian hosts or in shared apartments), a transfer on arrival and departure, and once in Italy you can sign up for various social activities and trips through the school.

About Program

Practicing your Italian on a long term basis with other language students and locals in Florence will help you make significant progress and is also a lot of fun. You can explore the museums, churches and a wealth of historical monuments as well as relax at local cafes and restaurants, and practice your Italian.

The Florence Gap Year course concentrates on developing general language skills, providing a depth of knowledge that will expand and enhance your language ability plus a range of cultural workshops (wine tasting, cookery, art history) to provide context, you will also prepare for the Italian DILI & DALI exams. A beginner could reach C1 level in 32 weeks study.

The school is situated just one block back from the Duomo, in a 16th c. Patrician’s palace, facilities include 18 classrooms, a student lounge & a multimedia room. A lovely city in which to live and school in which to study!
