About Program

Expect a tropical surf experience complimented by surf-specific yoga and fuelled by good food. Whatever your surf ability, you'll soon improve with two-three weeks of surfing, develop excellent core strength and flexibility with five yoga sessions a week, and discover more about the 'Pearl of the Indian Ocean'.

Run yearly between March-April, Ticket to Ride will also ensure you hone more than just your surfing skills by visiting elephants, leopards and other wildlife in their natural environment at Yala National Park. You'll also be left awestruck on a bicycle tour of the villages that survived the 2004 tsunami and the world famous point break, Arugam Bay.

Ideal for those seeking an awesome mini surf trip abroad on their Gap Year, but who are looking to max out on experiences while doing so. The most colourful cuisine ever, azure blue, peeling waves with empty line-ups, dreamy beachfront accommodation and sport fishing awaits you!

Surf and Yoga in Sri Lanka

I spent 2 weeks with Ticket to Ride surfing on Sri Lanka's beautiful south coast. The area is a tropical paradise with palm-fringed beaches, awesome surf, mouth watering food and natural beauty which is rugged and untouched. The local people are welcoming and hospitable, eager to share their country with travellers.

The trip itself was fantastic! I gained from it what I wanted…amazing surfing with good instructors and perfect conditions. The group was great, and fun times were definitely had!

If you're after an easy going trip, with awesome surfing, yoga to ease those tired muscles, good food and good company…then this is a trip for you!!

Be ready to switch off, relax and unwind!!! :)
