About Program
Embark on an extraordinary gap year experience in Uganda, the pearl of Africa, while being hosted by Jangu International. You will have a chance to engage with a diverse range of social enterprises focusing on environmental conservation, women's empowerment, WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene), cultural heritage, and more. This hands-on experience blends practical learning of innovative social ideas, research opportunities, and cross-cultural exposure.
This opportunity comes for free, as participants only need to cater for their travel expenses, accommodation at SINA Village, food, and other personal engagements. For food and accommodation at SINA village one has to pay only $800 per month which comes with internet, water, and a sim line (note an estimate of $400 as profit will be used to facilitate the process of empowering 1 marginalized youth for 5 months in their journey of becoming social entrepreneurs " your entire stay will give birth to a new social enterprise".
