About Program

The Tufts Summit program is a pre-college summer program designed for a select group of rising high school juniors and seniors, offering them the chance to take a college-level International Relations course while immersing in French language and culture.

Tufts Summit students enroll in two non-credit courses: International Relations in a Changing World and La Langue et La Culture Française. Both courses are taught by instructors who bring passion, expertise, and deep knowledge to the classroom. Classes are enriched with excursions to relevant sites in Geneva and the surrounding region, alongside a variety of extracurricular activities. Some sample activities and excursions from previous years include cheering on the Tour de France as they pass through the nearby village, a day trip to the city of Chambéry, hiking through the Alps, and a tour of a medieval castle the Château de Menthon!

Students stay with carefully chosen host families, often alongside another student.
