INESLE: High School Spanish Summer Program (Spain)

What sets INESLE apart from other study abroad programs is that its directors are personally involved and present throughout the program, delivering a truly exceptional immersion experience. Having participated in multiple study abroad programs, I can attest that this makes a difference! The personalized attention I received, the fun and engaging excursions and activities, and the hours spent with local Spaniards made this my most memorable summer and inspired me to continue studying Spanish in college. I can honestly say that I loved every second of my time with INESLE Madrid. Staying with a host family taught me so much about Spain and the culture. I truly believe that INESLE paired me with the best possible family. From the staff to the kids and families within the program, everyone was super kind and welcoming. INESLE brought me new friendships, experiences, and knowledge. Best of all, my Spanish speaking and understanding improved so much during my 2 weeks in Madrid. This program helped me grow as a Spanish speaker, but more importantly as a person. I still keep in touch with the people I met in Spain all the time. I am so grateful for the time I was lucky enough to spend with INESLE! I would easily do it again.

I truly loved spending two weeks in Madrid through the INESLE program. I had a great experience with my host family, we built a connection and I felt safe. I maintain contact with them to this day! The activities were so much fun; there was never a dull moment. I especially loved visiting other cities and learning about their history. My Spanish truly improved SO much. I can't recommend this enough, which is why I encouraged it to other Spanish students at my school, which partnered with Inesle.
