About Program
Our agri tourism and farm stay programs are available throughout Ireland where students will get to immerse themselves in the beautiful countryside and gain hands-on experience working on a farm whilst improving and developing their English skills. We offer Internships in a range of agricultural facilities such as dairy, beef & suckler, cereal, traditional mixed farm, and organic farms.
Typically students will be involved in the following areas:
- Growing and harvesting crops
- Feeding and tending to livestock
- Operating and maintaining machinery
- General farm labour tasks
Many farms are now taking paying guests as a way to supplement their income, and agri-tourism has become very popular in Ireland. Agri tourism is an ideal opportunity for hospitality/tourism students who want a different hospitality experience.
Responsibilities will include:
- Meeting and greeting guests
- Housekeeping
- Serving meals
- Bookings/customer service
