Barcelona Internships with Beyond Academy

I have really enjoyed my time in Barcelona on the Beyond Academy internship program! Our community coordinator, Isabel, was excellent, she was always on hand to help and led some fantastic community events that helped us discover parts of the city we wouldn't have otherwise & experience typical events like flamenco and tapas! The community aspect is great to meet other interns on the program and is well-organised.

My internship was not completely as expected, something that was not the fault of Beyond, and Beyond worked hard to provide appropriate solutions and support throughout this so my program was still meaningful to my professional growth. They also run a careers workshop and 1-to-1 meeting during your program, which were great to supplement your internship.

Interning abroad is such a fun, worthwhile & exciting opportunity, so I would definitely recommend it to anyone interested!

My internship in Barcelona was an unforgettable journey of growth. The program provided invaluable hands-on learning, and the vibrant city added so much inspiration. Meeting Leticia, our incredible community leader, was a highlight—her unwavering support and guidance made the experience even more enriching. The connections I built with fellow interns were priceless, and the cultural immersion was unforgettable and a part that I will cherish. I highly recommend this program for anyone seeking a creative and nurturing environment.

I had the absolute best time in Barcelona. Beyond Academy and all of its advisors made the entire experience so seamless and safe, I will always remember my time with them!! I also really appreciated how they made sure my company was the right fit for me and all logistics worked out so I wouldn’t have to worry about safety or anything else and really just be able to soak up all the time I had in Barcelona. I also loved how easy it was to travel to other places on the weekend! A special shoutout to our awesome advisor Leticia:)

Before I decided to book an internship experience abroad with Beyond Academy, I had never heard of them before. However, after completing my 6 week program in Barcelona, I will be forever grateful that I decided to book with BA! Leticia, our program coordinator was the kindest person and welcomed each and every one of us with open arms! I had an incredible Summer exploring Barcelona, making new friends, working and creating memories that will last forever. The public transportation in Barcelona was easy to use, the city was so diverse and exciting, and the food was incredible. I also loved the aparto that we had as our housing because it was fun living in the same building as all the other interns! I was able to grow and change so much during this past summer all thanks to the wonderful people of Beyond Academy! I highly recommend!

I was lucky enough to be able to meet an amazing community of people I now call my best friends! The events were so fun and I felt like I got to see so much of Barcelona! My internship was an amazing learning experience and I got to build a great connection with the company and ended up getting a job out of it!! For future interns, I say to go into this with an open mind and open heart! You never know who you’ll meet and what the future has in store! It is overall an amazing, exciting, once in a lifetime experience!

I love Barcelona!!!! I’m so glad I took the chance to take this amazing opportunity with Beyond Academy. They found the perfect internship for me that I know will definitely help boost me. My internship consisted of me learning new skills in 3D modeling software with a startup company. My colleagues were very friendly and supportive!

I feel very grateful and blessed to have made lifelong friends at my accommodation (a co-working and co-living space) and created memories that I will always cherish!

Being the only intern on the programme, on a personal level I enjoyed it very much given the fact I tend to struggle in groups! So it was a lovely experience to have 1 to 1 cultural and social activities with my community co-ordinator, Letícia. I also attended a few language exchange meetings and salsa classes in my spare time in order to meet others who could help me with my Spanish and to immerse myself fully into the culture!

Letícia is a wonderful human being who I've enjoyed getting to know over these last few months! She is a very organised, considerate and empathic, individual and if I ever needed any advice with my internship experience or emotional support, I felt very comfortable with her.

All in all! A truly rewarding, exciting and valuable experience 🚀 I am glad I chose Barcelona! ❤️

Overall, my experience was good. I was in Barcelona for 3 months doing an internship in the fashion industry. The internship as a whole was worth while, but my experience with Beyond Academy was a bit strange being the only intern for my first 2 and a half months there. This meant not having immediate friends upon arrival. Other than that I had a great 3 months. Beyond Academy also has weekly events which included museum tours, excursions all through the city and also dinners at typical Spanish restaurants.
