Which destination is most underrated? Conversely, which is most overrated?
Peru! It is affordable, beautiful, welcoming and very rich in culture. Overrated? Every destination has it's own personality. For me, it's more about your expectations. My advice: Leave judgements and expectations at the door when going to a new country or culture.
What do you believe to be the biggest factor in being a successful company?
Understanding people. I believe recruiting and sustaining good staff is the key to a successful company. In order to do so, leadership needs to understand how to keep their staff committed and satisfied.
How have you changed/grown since working for your current company?
I have grown tremendously! CISabroad allows their employees to blossom and reach their potential every day. I started as a very young professional with minimal "real world" experience and have since then taken on many leadership roles within the organization.
What unique qualities does your company possess?
Shhhhh. It's our secret sauce. Again, our people within the organization are something special. It's amazing how working together with people who share similar beliefs and values can generate such amazing energy.
What is the best story you've heard from a return student?
I love almost every story I hear from our alumni! Seriously. It's too hard to choose one.
