My favorite travel memory was when I went to Asturias, Spain with my wife for our second-year anniversary in 2019. It was an astonishing experience: you looked to one side and you could see the beach and if you looked to the other, you would see mountains. The landscape is full of trees and plants, simply a paradise. My wife and I rented an Airbnb for a weekend, explored the villages along the coast, hiked “Los Picos de Europa”, and ate fabada and drank cider (typical cousine in Asturias, highly recommended). It was incredible! As you can see, I love my country!

What is your favorite travel memory?
How have you changed/grown since working for your current company?
I am a more content and excited since I joining RVF International. I can confidently say to people what they are getting into, since I know Spain well and also because I share the same values of the company: excellence, trust, safety.
It's fulfilling to make people feel safe while they leave their countries, since I know first hand how challenging it can be to move overseas, not knowing how to navigate the visa process, and culture shock. It is very rewarding to provide a premium service and have that bond with every single person in the program.
What is the best story you've heard from a return student?
Something that one person told me from the program is how fast we respond to everything they need and how safe they feel with the information and service we provide. He said that has never experienced that with a company, and he felt super protected and happy with the whole process. He was looking forward to repeating the same experience for another year.
If you could go on any program that your company offers, which one would you choose and why?
I personally love the Teach English in Spain Program because it allows you to have a very unique experience while being in Spain. You are able to work, but then have so much spare time that you can really get to know the culture, the community, the traditions, and also travel all over Europe with very little money since flights are so affordable.
Another aspect of the program worth mentioning is the teaching experience aspect: you feel you are contributing to the students lives and adding value by being a window to a different culture that they are able to also learn from.
What makes your company unique? When were you especially proud of your team?
It is the transparency of our service. I love the bond we have with each of our customers, because they can tell we really care about them. All of them express their gratitude on how safe they feel with us, being guided every step of the way.
I feel very proud of my team and the service we provide. Everything is done in a rigorous way, thinking of the best possible experience for each of our customers. Among the members of my team, there is always a great and healthy environment where feedback is always welcome.
What do you believe to be the biggest factor in being a successful company?
I would say: costumer-centered service. People feel taken care of throughout the entire process. Even after they arrive to Spain, they feel very comfortable in reaching out to us because they know we are going to help them with anything they need. This experience clearly marks them for life and that is why they remember Spain as a great place.
