When I was a kid, lemonade wasn’t really my thing. It seemed like the perfect summer drink to so many kids, but I just couldn’t get into it. On the other hand, I loved something totally different—a Brazilian dessert called mousse. It’s a creamy, refreshing lemon treat that’s almost like ice cream. Funny enough, while everyone was sipping lemonade, I was enjoying my own version of a ‘cooling off’ experience with mousse.
Looking back, I see the same thing happening at Hult. While the traditional educational paths work for many, Hult offers something a bit different, and it’s been the perfect fit for me—much like mousse was the perfect fit for my childhood tastes. I’ve been having an amazing experience so far. The staff here is incredibly approachable, and the support system feels like no other place I’ve been. One of the best parts is the chance to connect with alumni who are already working in all sorts of fields, from startups to established companies. It’s like tapping into a vast network of mentors and peers that help guide you along the way.
The community at Hult is so diverse, and that’s allowed me to expand my perspective, both personally and professionally. It’s helped me grow in ways I didn’t expect, challenging the way I see the world and even how I approach problems. What’s different here is that we don’t have the typical exams, but instead, we dive into challenges and major projects. These require us to think critically and collaborate in teams to identify real-world problems and come up with actionable solutions. It’s this hands-on experience that mirrors what you’d face in today’s rapidly evolving business landscape.
At Hult, education is more than just textbooks or lectures—it’s about having the right guidance to help you navigate both the business world and your own personal growth. It’s like having a mentor by your side as you journey through this fast-paced environment. And much like how I found my love for mousse instead of lemonade, I’m embracing the experience Hult offers and making the most of it. I’m building my future, one 'mousse' at a time, learning, connecting, and growing along the way.
What would you improve about this program?
One thing I would suggest improving is recognizing students on the Dean’s List with a special event. It’s such an honor to be on the Dean’s List because it shows that the school really sees and appreciates the effort we put into learning and applying what we’ve learned. My idea is to organize an event, maybe a dinner with some CEOs or business professionals, to allow students to network and interact with those already making an impact in the industry. I think it would be a great opportunity for growth and inspiration, and I plan to bring it up today to see what everyone thinks! Let’s see if they like the idea! 😄
