The Quantum Internet Alliance (QIA) is a consortium of ~40 world-leading institutions working together to build a global Quantum Internet made in Europe. By combining QIA’s diverse interdisciplinary team, we will establish an innovative European platform for Quantum Internet development and build a full-stack prototype network that has the potential to become the first of its kind in the world.

Led by QuTech, a collaboration of Delft University of Technology and TNO, QIA consists of academic institutions, telecom operators, system integrators and quantum technology start-ups across nine (9) European countries. It received funding from the European Union’s Horizon Europe research and innovation programme under grant number 101102140.
