Undergraduate Degree at AUR

An undergraduate education at The American University of Rome provides students with the tools they need to succeed in the 21st century. Critical thinking, problem solving, writing and intercultural communication are central to our undergraduate curriculum and are firmly established for all Freshmen residents through our rigorous First Year Program and continued in our General Education Program and majors.

For their entire four-year career*, students are followed by a richly diverse and dedicated team of full-time and adjunct faculty made up of award-winning scholars and professionals. Each resident student is assigned an advisor from one of our full-time faculty, who follows them throughout their undergraduate career.
