About Program
Participate in a unique field school opportunity being offered in the summer Mongolia. Travel to a variety of scenic and vibrant locations, and take courses in: Media & Journalism (5 days); Literature & Music; Climate & Grassland Studies; Climate Change & Public Health; Buddhism & Natural World; Gobi Futures; and Mining & Environment (19 days each). Gain a special insight into the amazing culture and traditions of Mongolia, while building field research experience that can be applied in any setting. Work with faculty leaders to develop personal interest areas, and gain academic credit. Each course of the Mongolia Field School will begin and end in Ulaanbaatar with an orientation course that will include lectures by Mongolian and international experts and visits to local sites of interest. All Field School participants will then travel outside Ulaanbaatar to field locations related to their particular course.
