About Program
One of the world’s cleanest, safest countries, Singapore’s excitement comes from its rich cultural mixture of Chinese, Malay, and Western influences.
As Singapore's public education is conducted in English, The Ministry of Education in Singapore has made a recent push to recruit native English speakers for public schools. Certified teachers in all subjects may qualify to teach in Singapore and those applying to teach in public schools require the approval of the Ministry of Education.
Living in this island city-state exposes residents to a mix of influences in language, culture, and, of course, food. Though small, Singapore is densely populated, yet it remains one of the world’s most orderly cities (the sale of chewing gum is famously banned). Enjoy the safe, clean environment while living and teaching in Singapore!
