About Program
The Trinity TYLEC (Teaching Young Learners Extension Certificate) is a specialist certificate designed for teachers who are teaching English to children and want to develop their skills in this area. The course is ideal for practicing teachers who want to build confidence in the areas of classroom management, materials design and the theory of language teaching in the context of young learners. It is suitable for teachers who are interested in a more senior position, such as a head teacher, academic management, or young learner teacher training. The course syllabus was developed by Trinity College London in collaboration with the British Council to meet the growing need for young learner teachers to gain a validated type of professional qualification in TESOL. The course is validated by Trinity College London, an accredited provider of TESOL courses, recognised by the UK regulatory body, Ofqual.
This course is offered in a fully online mode.
